Have you tried searching this forum?
Anybody has been able to use the beta and rc for free for several months.
Plenty of threads already exist with peoples experiences.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
It's not going to cost you anything, so try it yourself and form your own opinion!
In my opinion, it's the best operating system Microsoft have released to date.0 -

Was excepting that ... and feeling ashamed.:embarasse
Awwwwww.
I installed it with an AMD Duron1.6gHz processor, 768Mb SDRAM and onboard graphics.
Bearing in mind Vistas' reputation, upon which I cannot comment with any authority, I was very pleasantly surprised when I found it was fine for general surfing and email.

Using it now on 2 pc's and one laptop for months its great, much quicker than Vista. No real issues all hardware supported straight out of os although updated some drivers cant find a ATI intregrated driver other than one MS provide for laptop. Definitely better supported through driver integration that Vista or Even XP was as I used them both before they came out to the public0
