No I had watched it to check it played ok, the tape was perfect, so it was at the end, the buyer rewinded it and they apparently snapped it.0 -
I dont really see how its your fault if you say the tape was fine and it broke while it was in their possession!! Once they have recieved the item surely its their responsibility.
I would ask them to return the tape so you can inspect the damage and consider giving them a refund. If you dont hear anything back then I guess you can assume things are not what they seem!
While most people are honest in this situation there are a lot of people out there who will try anything.0 -
Or rather than post it back request a photo of the damage?0

The buyer could easily just snap the tape on purpose now though if I ask for a photo or to send it back to me ( useless snapped Video ) and Amazon will still require me to refund them.
Anyone with experience of Amazon A-Z claims will they definately be in favour of the seller on this?0 -

I am DYING to know what it was! Round our way, VHS videos go for about 5 for a pound at carboots. Was it a 'specialist' video? Not even new?I am a cow so cannot speak Bullshine but I do recognise its smell when I come upon it.0 -
Amazon will almost certainly find in favour of the buyer however I would pre empt any claim via Amazon and ask for the tape to be returned first.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
