Discounts/deals for Ex RAF Servicemen??

Hi folks,

My first time visiting the Armed Forces board.

My husband is ex RAF and he said I should look into whether we can get any discounts/deals/freeeeeeeebeeeees. Obviously, MSE is my first port of call!

Does anyone know of anything at all?

The MOD Discount Directory is available to ex servicemen.

The local RAFA branch can stamp the discount certificate (even if not a member) but some of the discounts do not ask for proof.

Another good couple on MOD discounts are FHR for airport hotels and parking and Virgin Atlantic/Holidays. Its worth doing a price comparison for FHR but to date its been cheaper for me thru the discount site. For Virgin, you may need to quote your former service number. Once I was asked for it and the second time I wasn't. I did not need an entitlement certificate.
