Anyone work for Tish tash toys input wanted!

Have been looking at this website http://www.tishtashtoys.com/ who are looking for agents for xmas, sounds like a great idea and as I have children should be pretty easy to sell to other mums.

Just wondering if anyone has any experience really before I go ahead.

TIA x

  • I have worked as an agent for Tish Tash Toys for over two years now and love it. It fits in well with my family as I can either work in the day and visit nurseries/preschools/toddler groups with catalogues and displays (before they started school I used to take them along) or I can do parties and events in the evening, depending on what fits in best for me at the time.

I love the toys and as you say it is pretty easy to sell to other mums as the toys are so lovely and good value, ranging from party bag/pocket money toys right through to those special birthday/christmas presents.

Tish Tash Toys is a family run business so everyone is really friendly and helpful, and I would recommend being an agent to anyone who is looking for flexible working.
  • Hi, I have been with Tish Tash Toys for about a year now, and am finding it great - no high pressure sales targets to meet which is a great incentive for me! - there is so much work about at the moment too - all the school Christmas Fayres and events coming up.
I'd say definitely go for it!
  • Hi! I started with Tish Tash in May and I really enjoy it. I was in the top ten selling agents in my first month!! The products really do sell themselves, and it's great for meeting new people too. I have a 15 month old daughter and find that it fits round looking after her really well. Hope this helps!

Sorry but these endorsements above are so obviously from the promoters of this company! If they are that desparate to get agents that they will sign up 3 times to the forum to post gushing praise then that makes me think they wouldn't be a particularly trust worthy company to work for.

As said by CTE, havin looked at the first 3 posts, their names and their post count they are quite obviously promoters of the company.

  • Come on guys stop being cheap and pay for an advert rather than planting obvious crap on forums to try to avoid paying for marketing.

    Definitely :spam:

Such a shame if it really is a good company to work for!
  • I worked with them through 2 Christmas's and would say not to waste your money joining. I left last year and worked out that in about 18mths of being with them, I had made next to nothing. Yes you may get what appears to be good commission initially, but by the time you have paid out for unsuccessful events, plus all the other things that no one tells you about, you end up being out of pocket.

I know quite a few ex agents who have left this company because of poor communication from the Head Office. Christmas was the worst time, as they simply did not hold enough stock to fulfil the orders and many agents were left with very disgruntled customers. This happened as early as end of October/beg of November, so it was poor organisation on their part, not late ordering on the agent's part.

They were also keen to hide the fact that they own another site that sells the same products but with much cheaper prices.

    I would avoid! :naughty:

This obviously is just my opinion, from my experience of working for them. It is not as rosy at it looks!

MadMummy, just out of interest - were you just googling the company and then came across this thread?
