Title of item - think I've made a boob.

I'm selling a DVD on ebay at the moment. It's Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman. On my title of the item I didn't put the fact that it was a DVD. I put the title, Morgan Freeman and James Patterson book. I meant it was a movie of a book by James Patterson. I did list it under DVD's and the main body of my auction is a prefilled description of the DVD.
However, have had a couple of emails asking what it is I'm selling, if it's a DVD and book boxset, (didn't click the boxset button though). Am worried now that the person who has bid on it is under the impression that there is a James Patterson book in there too. Have tried to revise the auction but can't because I've left it too late and someone has bid on it. Have tried to contact the bidder to say i can cancel his bid if he wants but have had no reply. I'm scared I'm going to get a negative for false advertising. It's the only auction I've done that I haven't put a small blurb in about condition of item etc. Don't know what I was thinking about when I did it.

You may not be able to revise, but can't you add extra information to the description?
Simply add a piece explaining your faux pas, and email the bidder offering to cancel their bid for them.0 -
Have tried to edit description but can't do that either. What's even worse is when i was selecting pre-filled information i ticked Along came a spider/kiss the girls. So it's even more confusing than I originally thought. Have contacted highest bidder and explained and he is happy enough, just hope he wins it in the end. I'm going to double check everything from now on. It was my first time using Turbo lister and think I got a bit carried away with myself. Nevermind, you live you learn.:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Just add a note to the listing, you are right you cant edit it but you can ADD to it. Make a note and away you go..EBay is the holy grail of Auction Sites, use it to clear your unwanted items and generate you some income to spend on whatever you want. Just don't get addicted like me
