Does anyone know what is supposed to happen if your Final settlement offer is accepted ?

My letter from IVA just said mtg went ahead and vote to accept , ( all by proxy ) means it was now accepted....as Warner would go that all folks ...

Do you get a time period in which to send the payoff cheque to the IVA company ?

Yep, I could ring the misfits up but they always play pass the parcel with my call . So thought I would try an enlightened path.

Congratulations.

U will be told how long u have to forward the funds (mine was about a month or so if I remember right).

During that period you will not be expected to make any further payments, as it has now been agreed.

You will then wait several weeks until the cheque has cleared and the funds distributed. After this you will receive your Certificate of Completion (although on this site I have seen several people mention waiting for the certificate for months) and then you can get to sort out your credit reports and rebuild from there.
