    Hey

Just a quick question. Who has taken part in the Betfair poker tournament, I'm interested in giving it a go, as its £1 to enter but you get £5 back so even if i come last ill still be quids in.

    - How experienced are most of the players, would you say there were lots of novices or everyone seemed pro lol
    - How many other players were there?
    - How long did the tournament last?
    - If you won, how much did you get? I saw the returns %'s but someone else who won got more that what was advertised.

    Thanks for your help,

    Matt

AFAIK both are correct. For singular names ending in s, you can use both 's or just an apostophe. Charles' or Charles's, Thomas' or Thomas's; all are correct.

(Personally, I use 's, as it does seem more logical.)

(I can't believe I'm actually interrupting my holiday to log on and post this. Most people would probably think it's very sad :o , but I'll miss Droopsnout, who, I'm sure, would not. :hello: )

I played in it on Weds evening for my first time and it is worth it just for the points even if u don't win.

On wednesday there were 84 players, I came 57th, but i'm not good at bluffing ! Some pro's some not so take your chance, its worth it just for the fun of the game if you like it. Not sure how many points u win but believe it is broken into top 3 places. I was playing for about 20 mins when lost.

Good luck and hope this helps. next tournament Sunday I believe.
:hello: Laugh and smile everyday, it keeps you healthy !

If theres 180 people thats 18,000 points spent

If you win you get 50% of that ( 9000 ) which is £90 in rewards

I got £89 when i won my first ever tournament ( lasted about 3 hours)

    Good luck ;)

I logged in with my usual password, updated 'my categories of interest' and clicked on the 'home' page. Did this about 4 times but kept getting returned to the 'sign in' page. What's going on? :(

    EDIT
Ok have gone into Pigsback via IE instead of my usual Firefox and now all's well...
