I could have it wrong but I remember hearing somewhere that Gordon Brown lives at number 10 Downing St, because number 11 is a larger house and number 10 was too small for Tony Blair and his family?

Officially, since Tone is the PM he gets No.10 and since Gordon is the Chancellor of the Exchequer he gets No.11. Now...what they do behind closed doors is none of my business!

Yeah I'd heard that too. In fact there was quite a fuss made about it when they first got in.
