But as has been pointed out before if all the chat from this thread is taken away the thread will become a very boring place to be, in fact if we are restricted purely to talking about PB and NOTHING else at all then people simply won't bother posting info here and then we will all have to do the quizzes and look for the ct's ourselves. I find the links and extra points info and all the general heads up that we get (thanks for my squeezy pigs PB!) very helpful and I would be very sad if this thread goes the way of the Boots thread where the posts seems to go 'This is on offer here at this price' and 'I saw this today at this price' with no 'normal' conversation in between.
I know there is a chat place, The moneysavers arms, but people simply will not bother to flick between the 2 threads and it will all become a terrible mess.
This is all my opinion of course, i'm not being argumentitive but this seems to come up every week or so with no decent outcome ever being reached.
I like it just the way it is i'm afraid.

As a long time lurker may I enter the foray?

signatures: droopsnout, love your signature and . . . the pictures, well I can't use the word 'love' but they certainly give my eyebrows exercise :eek:

dial-up: I use a snail of a PC, which runs Win98 (not SE, so no USB) so I can't go broadband, but the pictures don't noticabley slow me down

Can people just please chill? Weekends are reasonably quiet for PB anyways, there isn't a new crossword and not any chances of new quizzes or comps. On weekdays, there is significantly less chat and more moaning to Darragh about points not being awarded or missing or anything in between. There is no need for a seperate thread, keeping this thread with chit chat at the weekend keeps it on the front page or close to the top of the first page. Besides, sad people like me need a reason to check the thread every hour or so, regardless of whether anything real has happened on PB.
And is there a fastest finger draw to post the answers at midnight today?

I'd hate to see that happen here. I rarely go to the Boots thread now as it's so bland compared to how fun it used to be.

Like some others here have suggested, just skim through looking for the links if you don't want to join in the chat, it only takes a moment. That's what I do if I'm in a hurry.
