A new survey is available from the PB homepage, on "Shopaholics".Much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good. - Thomas Sowell, "Is Reality Optional?", 19930

Which is all fine, but a waste of time for those of us who read the thread for useful Pigsback info! I know it's been mentioned time and time again but it really would help if we had 'Pigsback Clickthroughs & Competition Answers' thread and a 'Pigsback Chat' theads (like we used to have with Tesco).
Everyone who posts here is fab but I don't like reading 5 pages of cr*p to get to one 10 point clickthrough!
Even if a new thread was start just for Ct's and comps, people would just duplicate previous CT's because they would not bother to look through what has been posted before.
Its far better to leave it the way it is. As has been said you don't have to read all the posts just skim through for the links. If your time is that short, just logg onto Pigsback and look for the information yourself. Nobody forces anybody to come onto the thread to look for the information.
Some of the off post topics can be very funny.
At the end of the day everybody has a right to post on this or any thread. The times that it goes off topic is when somebody adds a little ditty at the end of the post that was about Pigsback. I don't think anybody will forget Droopsnout's tights!!!!!!
What happens when the World Cup begins are we going to stop people mentioning it on the thread?3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds0 -
An off topic 'chat' thread would more than likely be moved to 'The Arms' as with the Boots thread that was split.. That would cause major confusion - IMO!
Whatever the title of the thread states eg 'misprices' you will always find it ends up with questions, general chat etc....
Best left as it is.. its not hard to skim through and spot links
Personally, if this thread irritated me as much as it appears to do some, I'd just log onto PB and find the click thrus, and do the comps myself...0 -
