If it really bothers you that much that this thread doesn't just contain links and answers then you have a choice.

1. Get the links and answers yourself by going on pigsback.
2. Just search for the links by skim reading it, it's not that difficult and a lot of the time, links are headed in big red writing to make it even easier.

2 seperate threads don't work, it has been tried, and failed. The majority of people want just one post and also there is the fear that answers/links may get lost between the 2 posts.


Posting about how you don't like it only adds to more pages that are nothing to do with pigsback, which is what you're complaining about in the first place.. and in this case, you're part of the problem, not the solution.

I don't mean this post to sound harsh but come on people, this is meant to be fun so why not just chill out and enjoy it.

Claire, you yourself are 'dictating' about what people should do. This is everyone's thread, and if people are feeling nervous about posting [this is very very frequently said], due to the negative responses that come, that is a problem and surely should be solved, rather than telling people to pipe down and smile! I'm sure if you were upset you'd not welcome someone telling you that!? and I'm sure it's not 'fun' for all those who are feeling nervous about posting.

Surely a half-way-house solution is that the thread is for saving money, having a chat, and posting competition answers, but also remembering to have more patience and respect towards others to whom this thread also belongs.

I think its got to the point here where the PB thread has lost the plot........

It was originally set up so fellow MSE users could share answers, click throughs, deals etc.

Now it has simply turned into a b*tching forum.

YES, i have grumbles about PB but they are aired purely to try and find a solution.

But coming on here to rant and disrespect other users is simply a waste of time.

People have complained about Kazzea and Droopsnout but at least they lightened the air and atmosphere a bit. (Mind you the image of DS dressed is fruit still scares me!)

Lets just all hug and move on!!!!!

Descartes is certainly not wasting Pigsback's time, he (?) is pointing out the mistakes in their website, which is valuable free feedback!

It's been said time and time again by the more technically-aware people on this thread that there is a lot of room for improvement in the way the PB site is set up. Me, I haven't got a clue about anything remotely IT-related , but judging by the sometimes massive malfunctions on the PB website, there does indeed seem to be a few things that need sorting out, from a techinical perspective.

Hopefully, Darragh will see Descartes's post and forward it to whoever it is that needs to know.
