I see Jules is still posting but for how much longer ? Sorry to the oldies I've missed out but we've lost so many, I'd be here all day naming them.

Are you trying to get rid of me ?
There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

Thanks for the answers to todays quizzes and xword.
  • Its Beef, I'd really love to hear the resolution of this one! After Alonso qualified in pole and knowing how difficult overtaking is at Monaco, I was going to stake all my Piggpoints on him winning but then forgot to do it and was kicking myself when he won! But after reading this, I'm extremely relieved I didn't bother!

I think it was 44 PP for a 50PP bet for BONNIE

That means that it would be a 49PP pay out for A 50pp STAKE on the GRAND PRIX.

    A loss on both AGAIN!!!!!

    I was exactly the same!

But thought better of slamming 5000+ points into the pot.

I fully understand the fact that its not your usual "bet" but the basic principle of place a bet, winning, then recieving less than you staked makes no sense what so ever.

I think someone stated that PB take 20% of the pot as their cut. That seems a massive amount considering the government only used to take 10% of normal betting takings.

Not sure how this can be resolved.........:confused:
