Hi there,
I bought 2 sets of compatable catridges for my epson stylus sx 200 all in one on ebay £10.90 for 2 sets arrived quickly and looked good but my printer wouldn't recognise them. Seller is being ok with it and giving a refund.
My question is as these printers are now chipped and someone has told me that epson can update the chip over the net is it worthwhile even trying to put compatable into it?
is it possible that even the same model of printer has different chips, wonder if I should give up on using comaptable altogether?

I have an SX200 and yes it is chipped and yes I do use compatibles - you were probably just unlucky getting some that didn't work. Check sellers feedback and try to find some where he sold the same cartridge type.
I once wanted some quick and got them from Tesco - they were accepted at first but wouldn't print properly so I went through a clean cycle a few times and suddenly they were rejected for no apparent reason. I just got a refund as I'd got some from eBay in the meantime that were fine.0
