Question for anyone who does Usborne books at home

  • I did Usbourne books for about a year and made about £50! I contacted all the schools playgroups etc in my area and done quite a few parties but no one was interested as the books were too highly priced. I expect if you live in a better area you could make more money.

I also started work with Usborne last year, and hardly made anything! I ended up spending more on the books than I made back. I still like the books but the problem is that Tesco, Asda etc sell the 'That's not my...' books for even cheaper than the organiser, which is a bit off putting.
Good luck if you go for it, but in my honest opinion it would be quite rare to earn £500 a month, I'm sure there are people who do but I think you would have to sell a shed-load of books.

You can have a templated website through Usborne and sell them through that. You are right - you are not able to sell them through other websites. The templated websites are fab though! And can lead to a lot of other things (like getting recruits, party bookings etc.).
