DLA and IVA

Hi, does anyone know if Disability Living Allowence is can be included in iva? Thanks

    Ideally yes, and in practice it does even out but nothing is perfect! Even me is not!

    If there were a number of household incomes, and DLA was part of it (ie wages, child benefits, tax credits, DLA etc) then the DLAgoes in at the top of the IE as an INCOME then the things the the DLA is provided for would come out of the expenses at the bottom... and so it evens out - but it's not an exact science!

    You'd think it would just be easier to leave it out altogether but everything must be accounted for and verified!

    sorry for not replying sooner, the DLA is for my husband the IVA is joint
