Recommendations on Lovely Hotel for 1st Wedding Anniversary

It is our 1st wedding anniversary next week and I would like to take my hubby away for the night to a really nice hotel - you know one of those massive ones that look like a manor or something.
Can anyone recommend a nice place to me, can't be too far north as we are from Buckinghamshire so we don't want the travelling distance to be too long. The more romantic and spectacular the better really - am looking to spend about £200 and if I can find somewhere that has dinner and breakfast included that would be great.
Seen a couple of places that I was considering but am open to suggestions and would like to go somewhere that has been recommended

I am from Bucks, we spent our first anniversary in the same hotel we spent our wedding night, same room too which was lovely. Four poster bed, hot tub in the bathroom. Great food and breakfast too. Wasn't spectacular but was The Bell Hotel in Winslow. Stayed 4 or 5 times and was always lovely. What were you considering if you don't mind me asking?Sadly, you don't have any badges yet but keep trying! See what you could get........... oh boo hoo I am crying into my wine.0

We had the same idea but our wedding venue is all booked up because they have an event on
I was thinking of this place http://www.kilworthhouse.co.uk they do a room with 3 course dinner in the restaurant up to £34 each and breakfast for £140 in a Garden room or you can upgrade to a fourposter room for £215. The main thing that was putting me off was that I'm not sure the menu in the restaurant is suitable. One day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
The Crown hotel in Amersham was the Four Weddings one I think and The Flitwick Manor nr Woburn looks nice and you could spend the day at the Safari Park which is fantastic.Sadly, you don't have any badges yet but keep trying! See what you could get........... oh boo hoo I am crying into my wine.0

For our 5th wedding anniversary, we stayed at the 'Three Swans' Hotel in Market Harborough. http://www.bestwestern.co.uk/Hotels/Best-Western-Three-Swans-Hotel-83291/Hotel-Info/Default.aspxÆr ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

Pennyhill Park in Bagshot is spectacular, and not too far from home.

Have a look at the crazy bear group - beaconsfield or oxford. Small and quirky, but could definitely be memorable/spectacular if it's to your taste. I can vouch for the food at the oxford one, too - thai and english restaurants, both excellent. Might be pushing the budget tho...0

I loved the look of the Flitwick Manor in Woburn but they don't have any rooms for the day we need
The Pennyhill spa is out of my price range they emailed me a quote and it was a lot more than I can really afford. Same with the crazy bear group - they look fantastic but would definitely be pushing the budget.
So far have narrowed it down to these three
http://grovefieldhouse.classiclodges.co.uk/offers.asp?parentid=158&id=142 - Grovefield House in Slough
http://www.fairlawns.co.uk/romantic.htm Fairlawns Hotel and Spa
Both of these do a deal with dinner, bed and breakfast.
At Fairlawns you also get half a bottle of champagne in the room, chocolates, and use of the spa for about £150.
At the Grovefield you also get chocolates, champagne (a full bottle) a 3 course dinner and breakfast for £155.
So at the moment its look as being one of those. The only thing that really annoyed me was that yesterday I saw a really nice hotel, it was somewhere near Windsor and if you went on a Sunday (which we are) they upgraded your room for free and you could have a jaccuzi bath or a four poster bed but like an idiot I forgot to bookmark the site and now I can't find it againOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170 -
Hve you considered looking on one of the hotel searches, like Lastminute.com? DH and I use it when we travel together to Italy a couple of times a year, and we quite often stay in 4/5star hotels at a very good reduced rate.0
