Hoxton Hotel £1.00 Rooms Starts 1st October 12 Noon

Well done to those who got a £1 room. I kept getting connection problems. I think I will follow the advice of other and have both IE and Firefox open, was only using FireFox this time round.

Managed to bag a £29 room though then realised that it would mean it will be coming off the tail end of another holiday.....doh! Just emailed the Hoxton and they have agreed to cancel the booking before the card is charged. Great customer service as they replied within 5 minutes even though they must be busy!

My fault I suppose. But I am sure they're not allowed to not refund you by law. Oh well, guess I'll be staying in this weekend to pay for it if they don't!

You'll have to let us know if they refund you or not. Same happened to me when I did it earlier for the 1st time but am a bit miffed now as I booked in the rush and forgot my sister might abroad on hol on the date I've just booked for :rotfl::rotfl:

Emailed the reservation team, explaining the issue and they sent me an email saying that it has been cancelled!

Have to find another cheap hotel in London somewhere now, so the missus and me can enjoy the Christmas lights in December!

in the moment of panic, OH and I have managed to book 2 nights for £29, except that I've made a mistake and the 2 nights is not consecutive. We wanted 12-14/Jan/10, but we now have 11/Jan, and 13/Jan. anyone wants exchange it with me?

We're open to all possibilities because it's just not possible for us to come to London twice in a week. Any nights between 10/Jan til 14/Jan is good for us, so we can either stay for 2 consecutive nights as planned or invite friends to come with us.



by the way, we were actually in Hoxton hotel's lobby when trying to book into promo rooms. There were a lot of funny telephone conversations going on at reception at 12pm. Many people don't realize it's online sales and try to book through telehpone.:p
