Expectant CSA

Hiya All,

Just going to have a mouth off here. My Husbands Ex thing ( cant bear to say her name ) Has AGAIN put a claim in to the CSA. We pay her every month, whatever she wants to be honest. Buy the kids clothes, holidays , hair cuts , days out. The usual stuff that loving families do for their children (except her). But lo and behold a couple months ago she didnt want any money, "just spend it on the kids", She said. I said to my husband hang on a minute !!! Although this was kind of a good thing as what money we were giving her was obviously NOT being spent on the kids was at least now going to make sure the kids were smart, had school gear, lunches etc. And that we were not in effect paying twice.
Letter drops on the mat yesterday " Dear Mr "Bellio's" Husband. We have re-opened your case ( last case was 2 years ago when she slyly did this ) When my husband had a contract for a normal 5 day week and was paying her a lot more money. That all went terribly wrong and she ended up with nothing for 5 months. Although the CSA were taking out of our account. So she stopped it) Now since xmas last year he has been on a 4 day week contract that went down to 2 days a week ( Yes it was crap) Anyway CSA Say we dont care, fill in your bank details and start paying full whack cos we dont really care what you say PWC wants your money.

!!!!!! !!!

Any how we called Falkirk and spke to someone else who told us the they were not informed by PWC that we had the children 3/4 nights per week. So they just believed her. I did an online assessment first of what we should be paying for them now. They guys at Falkiirk got it all wrong !! and said send your payslips on then and just pay.

God it so annoys me that PWC ( not all mind) Can go get themselves a new house, holidays, cars then mess the NRP's about, when clearly not all NRP's are worthless and dont give a crap. We have done more for those children than that woman will ever do.

Pleased that we are going through the CSA now though ( Hopefully this time it will work, last time was a complete and utter shambles) This way My family know where we stand. The only ones missing out now will be the children.

Sorry and thanks for reading

  • Hiya! I know how you feel. My partners ex claimed CSA the minute she found out I was expecting our first. Then it took the next 2 years for them to finally take our son into account (by then we had another, but we were lucky in as much as they took both into account at the same time) He was then told that he had overpaid by £291, and suffice to say, my partner hasn't seen a penny of that money back into his bank account even though they called and took his bank details.

Aside from this though, there used to be a parenting website that had a very useful forum about the CSA. I hope someone can clarify this point, but I'm sure I read that someone provided proof that their children stayed overnight with them by using photographs, with time and date stamps.. can someone please clear this up??

That happened to us the first time she claimed, we had overpaid by about £150.00 , never seen the money, but "" they did give us £30 compensation for all the trouble they had caused !!!.. What a joke.Im pleased they took both your children into account. God why do people have to be so greedy, jealous and manipulative !!! (That was not a general statement to all Pwc . Just mine in question.

Unfortunately because they are allowed to!!! If you tried to prove otherwise it would cost you a fortune, so no one bothers because they cant afford to

Hmmm.....you're not the first and you won't be the last
  • If what you wrote is the truth (please do not feel offended but sooooo many ppl come on this forum with phoney stories) then it seems that the ex is using the CSA to get back at you.
It is not nice to use the CSA as a tool for revenge.
My best advice: provide all documentation to the CSA and let them deal with it.
Always make sure that they charging you the correct amount.
Whatever your husband wishes to pay on top of what the CSA is charging him that will be between him and his conscience.
    Hope that helps!

Oh believe me I couold go on and bloody on. I haveseen the times and been there when we have scrimpt and saved to get the kids on holiday whilst paying CSA to her directly and we have come back off a weeks holidays and she had booked on eof her own with her partner and not been there when we got back!!! Whats all that about !!! She is despicable, but hey we have been to solicitors and they say keep it shut or she can take away contact, which she has tried but it is too convenient for her to have us a her beck and call. The old "" an you have te kids for the week cos me and XXXXX hae fell out"", " The electric has gone off can you have the kids for the week """", "" Cant afford the dinner monies can you sort it"""" The list goes on and on. And she has the Gall to do this. Like I say im pleased its going to go this way, but now the gloves are off.

Is there any reason you cannot apply to court for full care of these children?

    ever tried??

i'd give my right arm to get residence of my daughter before her mother ruins her, but i'd have more chance of seeing monkeys flying outta my butt. the family law system is massively biased.
