Hi are the Sky routers locked to Sky, if so can these by unlocked to work with another ISP? many thanks

I wouldnt swear to it, but when I played about with my dads I couldnt get anything properly changed on it so id say your out of luck personally:idea:0

if you know what original model number it is you could try flashing the firmware - but that might turn it into a brick :S0

All Sky supplied routers are effectively locked to Sky (user/password programmed) but they can obviously be reflashed to generic firmware - just Google.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
You need to flash the router to Netgears latest firmware.
That way you will have a fully working router not locked to sky.
