Late payment question - what would you do?

I sold a bundle of clothes yesterday and the buyer has contacted me today to say that she would like to pay via PayPal on 22nd May.

I do say in the description that if a buyer can't pay within 7 days, that they should contact me to agree another day. Although I don't specify when they should contact me, I would have expected her to do this before bidding as she would surely know if she could afford to pay within 7 days or not!

If I say no could she report me for not selling?

Personally I'd mail her back and agree, (but I am in a good mood right now :D )after all its only 10 days to wait, but I'd make it clear that if she doesn't pay on the 22nd then you will re list the items, then you can do a NPB.

I recently had a guy in the Army email me to say that he has bid on something of mine and that he will pay late because he is in the army and will be away. Thinking that i could be waiting years i asked him with he was due back and he said that he will be back 12 days after the auction closed. I didn't see any problem with that. As long as it was reasonable and he let me know.

Thanks all - I think I'm a bit grumpy today because I've had enough of silly buyers lately!

I've got another sale from 10 days ago who promised to pay by cheque straight away. 5 days on it hadn't arrived so I contacted her. She said sorry but she'd run out of cheques and would send it as soon as the book arrives (this annoyed me because I had to contact her). No sight of it yet, but I've received great feedback from her this afternoon!

I'm so fed up - I'm going to give it a rest for a bit (if I can get through the withdrawal symptoms)!
