I really don't know how you can tell what it is from the photos tbh, but it does sound a bit like the way chickweed grows and grows........ and grows. They do seem to have alot of seeds.
Easy to get rid of though, just pull it up, or hoe.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0
