c902 insert sim??

ive got a sony ericsson c902 phone and even when i insert a sim in it it stil shows a message saying insert sim card i dont know anything about phone so if anyone can tell me whats the problem and how much will it cost to repair thanks

sounds like it's locked to a network that is different from the sim you're putting in it. Try a local phone unlocker (usually found in markets/town centres etc.)

ive tried different sims but same message could it be blocked in the uk?

Is the phone old? Could be a dirty contact between the sim and the phone. Try giving the sim a gentle clean with something soft. Give the connector on the phone a bit of a clean as well if you can.

try that.

if it was barred, you wouldn't get any network signal and the phone would display inactive sim
