I've just received notification from SeeBoard that my DD for electricity is to increase from £65 pm to £85 pm. I was a bit surprised at this given that electricity prices don't reflect this increase, and I always supply an accurate reading to them.
What really confused me though was the necessity of any increase at all, given that I am over £200 in credit. A cynical customer might deduce that my money in their account earns them interest.
Has anyone else had a similar experience? Time to look at switching, I suppose.

If you have such a large credit surely you are entitled to ask for it to be refunded. It was, if I recall correctly in Seeboards terms when I lived in its area. I left 4 yrs ago.0

I have. It's the need for any increase in the light of an obvious overpayment that gets me.0 -
