Hi,
Whats the best/easiest to use/free piece of software that I can use to grab small film clips from DVDs?
I want to add a few clips to a powerpoint presentation.
Thanks in advance.

Theres no easy of doing that, your best bet is to read up on the Doom9 forums but it's a long read. Bear in mind that ripping a movie DVD is illegal.Blessed are the geeks, for they shall inherit the Internet.0

Not that I know a lot about it but i'm trying to do the same thing. Just stumbled across a programme called VideoReDo (just type it in to yahoo and it comes up - free 15 day trial). At this moment i'm trying to work it out but it seems to do what i want it to (which same to you is cut scenes from a dvd), though haven't managed to do it yet (i'm female)
Might be worth giving it a try
Also have been told that Nero does a similair thing but haven't given that a try yet£2's savers club....£14

I've got Cyberlink Power DVD. I don't think it's free (I got mine when I bought my PC). It's very good though. You can copy images to the clipboard with no problems.
