Can anybody tell why these lines are happening please. example;

Are you talking about the blank lines? In what program, Word etc
If it's in Word, check the line spacing (in Word 2007, right-click, select 'paragraph', see what it says for line spacing. normal is about 1 or so, see what looks right).0
