If the estimated change over read was too low, then when it got corrected up, EDF's first bill woudl go down and Eon's final bill would go up - you will need to pay the difference.

    Hi pegasusp3,

When you change supplier your new supplier would normally ask you for a reading to start your new account with them from, they then send this reading your previous supplier to close your account to.

Therefore, both accounts should close and open from the same reading, normally provided by the customer.

It sounds like E.ON and EDF have agreed a new reading to open and close the account to.

As SwanJon says, EDF's first bill would go down and Eon's final bill would go up if the reading had been amended and show less usage when with EDF.

It would be best to check that the closing read with E.ON is the same as the opening read with EDF, if the reads are the same and your up to date reads follow on then it sounds like the bill is now correct.

    Hope this helps.
