Lloydstsb :(

how can i get my charges back from them????

i've tried a few of the letters and even got to the one threatening court, but unfortunately couldn't actually afford to put it into the small claims court, i then sent another letter trying to claim hardship as i'm a single mother of three, currently not working and relying on less then £1000 a month coming which has to as you all know keep the household running and children fed and clothed.

due to the fact that charges have been taken out of my account i have then struggled to get bills paid and therefore fallen behind with a couple of things where the balliffs are threatening to take stuff away.

i could really do with the money that lloyds owe me to get myself straight and my a/c in line.

please what else can i do :( stressed out mother ??????

    Hi there

I'm sure someone will be along soon.

With my experience of Lloyds TSB, they are not the easiest of them to deal with but have you tried as well by posting on the debtfreewannabe thread here:
    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=76

Someone will help you in regards of reclaiming the charges on this thread here, but with help and support also templates to send to the bank to come to some reasonable arrangement, please browse on the link I posted, and ask for help as well, good luck with all this.;)

Have you written the first letter to LloydsTSB yet and have they responded yet?
We'll get you there so let's see how far you are and then see where we go from there.

  • GRRRR. I have a direct debit with lloyds bank for my orange phone account,an account which I was assured you can't get overdrawn on when I applied for a small overdraft!,I have religiously checked I have enough money to cover the dd this week but today(it was due yesterday)I find that I was £5 short so they are charging me £20! I paid in the money I had on me (£12) and went straight to the customer services desk. They said I cannot get the fee waived, I cannot change to a different account with an overdraft facility because there are no offers this month and it doesnt go on how much I have going INTO the account each month. Funny that as when I took the account out I was told I had to have this particular account because I didn't have enough going into my account each month!!!! This is the second time it has happened.

did you pay the money in today? I am sure I have read LloydsTSB will give you until the afternoon on the day the item is going out before they charges you. Very strange...

Any court claim would be on hold like everyone else so if you have acknowledgment of the claim then you are in the queue so to speak
