I open freeze the slices (lay them on top of something - so they dont all stick together). Then pop back an hour later and assemble it back into the loaf wrapper so it looks like a loaf but you dont have to chisel bits off itA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men :cool:

i freeze in packs of 4 slices.....i find this easier for 2 reasons: 1.less wastage and 2. a whole loaf always gets squished when i put it in the freezer0

I freeze fresh sliced loaves...then when I want a couple of slices I take the loaf out of the freezer and drop it on the floor to dislodge some!0

I freeze whole sliced loaves, but when I put them in the freezer I shoogle them around a bit so the slices aren't squashed together in the bag. It makes it much easier to get individual slices out!0
