Thanks all for the advice, think plan of action is to hang on for a sale grab one then and wait and see how it goes, whilst keeping an eye out on new stock over the next year. Worse case I need to sell on, best case she wears that one

Jane norman clothing isnt very forgiving.
If it fits perfect now, the slightest increase/decrease in size will mean the dress wont fit right at all.

I am a size 8 in jane norman clothing but i had to buy a 10 in this dress just for my boobs to feel comfy. And my boobs arent overly massive 32C.

1 year is a long time especially with a growing teenager, its not the same as a normal bridesmaid dress where you can have it altered.

It really is not forgiving, she is an 8-10 everywhere except at JN where we had to try a 12 for her chest!!

  • Lovely dress, Fran and a great simple style.
It can be very easy to produce and add detail in any colour so I wouldn't worry about making any decision yet.

Thanks, the detailing is really nice and would go really well with colour scheme, and it was the first one she actually likes :rotfl:

  • I was worried about my BM dresses too, I have 6. Getting married in June. In June my BMs will be 16, 13, 13, 12, 11 and 8, so the 16, 11 year old and the 8 year olds will be ok, but all the ones inbetween will i suspect will grow boobs hips etc
2012 wins: Panasonic home phone, Panasonic mobile phone, maple syrup and cookbook, £50 experience voucher, book, craft stuff, holiday in Ibiza, Dr Who Figures and 2 cinema tickets, bottle of Gin, 2X DVDs, Ipod touch, Moshi Monsters cay, Lipstick, Relaxation CD, £500 voucher for birdwatching holiday

Fingers crossed for an ITV win :D
