Do you check your bond winnings online?

If you have premium bonds, do you go to the NS&I website at the start of each month to see if you have won?

Or do you wait and see if Ernie sends you a nice little bonus in the mail?

I usually hang on for a few days - but then give in around the 5th and have to check online (the suspense is too much to bear!) :cool2:

Certainly do. Little note in my electronic diary with the web address / Holder number in it - which I move each month! (Pathetic - eh? )

But I do it for a reason. As the payable orders are sent by post - I don't want my winnings to go the way of the 1600 FA cup final tickets stolen from Royal Mail in Liverpool !! At least I know what's en route - so can object if not received?

£700 this month - that's definitely my best to date (but still waiting for £50 of it)

but include your own 10 character Bondholder's Number sustituted for the one above at the end it will take you directly to the screen telling you that you haven't won without having to additionally key in the number each time. (Neat eh?)

(The real question is has anyone ever using this method actually got to a 'winner' screen.. and what does it say? )

Have edited my diary note accordingly, thank you ........ and it now directs me to a winners page. which says 'You have won £xx' (several times)
