Removing the lists of websites from the google space bar.

When I click into the space bar to search google, I get up a list of websites I've visited previously. How can I get rid of the list coming up?

Another way to very quickly clear the search history is to place your cursor in the search box, right click and select “clear search history.” This is faster for on-the-fly clearing.

You can also delete individual entries from your search history by using the Down arrow key to highlight a previous search and then pressing the Shift-Delete key.

For clarification:

1. Space bar - the biggest key on your keyboard.
2. Address bar - the bit of the browser you type web addresses in.
3. Search box - the thing you put words in to find other things.
