Someone who is earning £100,000 p/a now is better off than someone who is earning £100,000 p/a in 50 years time, but the equation does not allow for that.
Would inflation need to be taken into account though? Because its more an on the spot check of your finances as they stand in the present. Its just the variables that chance for each person.0 -
It also does not work if you are young such as me.
They expected me to have a huge networth even though I had only just finished education.
The concept is good, the equation is poor.
All of you complaining, just read the book!0 -

People are rude, as you say, because this is the 5th or 6th post of prattling nonsense that this poster has foisted on us. They come directly from a website she is trying to promote in the US, which has next to nothing to do with British circumstances.
And then - when you point out the nonsense of them - she never responds.
It is spam, not debate.0 -

Yes, it would need to be yourself because tightwads with your vulgar obsession with money wouldn't have many friends to do it for them.
Money you may have, class you certainly don't.0 -
No problem at all Paul. But if you, in turn, have a problem with what I'm posting, please feel free to not read them.
I really don't mind.
My dear Bendix, I quote you back with an honest smile and from your other thread. Here I thought from an earlier comment you'd somehow managed to hide my posts?
As we're still at least communicating there may be hope for Isreal and Palestine?? I am sending congrats on the extra payments from the Thai consulting company. And just a guess, I'm probably not on the top of your list to buy a beer and celebrate your extra 20,000 pounds?
Truly wishing you a good day! Considering our families fought on the same side through two world wars and we both read the Economist (though you apparently do not need to do so to assure a roof over your head;)), we've got more in common than you may think.
