Contents Insurance for Students

My boss's daughter has just moved into halls of residence at uni and they prompted her to get contents insurance.

Would this be a special type of insurance for students/uni rather than the usual contents insurance?

Anything we should look out for?

Thanks in advance.

There are a couple of companies that offer suitable policies. I'm sure Endsleigh is one of them.

Her contents is almost certainly already covered by her parents Home Contents Policy for free and is normally far superior cover than the Endsleigh type Student Policy.

Be aware that a lot of policies exclude theft cover unless there are signs of a violent or forcible entry / exit
