We had a Sun newspaper break there a few years a go now - NEVER again, we came home early. Awful place!

No wonder they are having to resort to free holidays!!!!

I'm a bit fed up that every time there is a thread mentioning Pontins people feel the need to jump in and shout how disgusting they are and how they would never go there. This forum is about moneysaving. Pontins accommodation may be basic, but the entertainment is good, the kids have an amazing time there, and in the case of Camber the beach, which is only a 5 minute walk away, is beautiful. Some may have had the issue with chalets not being clean, but I have never come accross this myself, they have always been basic but clean, and all you need for a base for a fun little holiday.

Indeed if everyone were the same life would be boring, so don't go if you don't like it, but please stop hijacking threads to tell everyone how awful it is, when for many families a brek at Pontins will be the only holiday they have this year, and chances are they will have a great time.

(Rant over - watch midday come and the offer's only a fiver off or something!)

unfortunately people are more likely to post about a bad experience than goon.

I have had many cheap holidays at pontins without much to complain about, and when i did complain (to them, not everyone else) it was sorted pretty quickly.

Holidays are what you make them to be honest, if you carry on moaning and moaning instead of going out for the day and whatnot, you are hardly going to have a good time aren't you?
