  • SM - we took Liam in a swim nappy and a t-shirt, but it was warm because it was a waterpark rather than a pool. We then just whipped off the wet t-shirt and cuddled him in a towel. Is there any chance you could nip in the pool before and see how warm it is?

seth slept better last night, went down at 7.30, had a feed when i went to bed and then one at 4am, was still asleep when i got up at 7.15 but me moving around woke him up  i think it must have been the teeth troubling him.
i've set the travel cot up in his room and i'm going to try and kill two birds with one stone with this one, by getting him used to napping in the day in it and in his room, cos he will sleep in a travel cot at the CM's. then going to move the proper cot  in there, and then if he still doesnt take well we can just put the travel cot in our bedroom as an emergency
it would all be so much easier if the darn cot would just fit through our doorways :rotfl:

who reckons we can get to 10,000 posts before a new thread?!!

Whats the earliest a baby can teeth? I ask because Jack is currently chewing his fist but won't take his dummy and wonder if it could explain his mood

I asked DH and the first 4 teeth come at 6 months plus or minus 6 months, so they can get them from birth, although that's less likely :)
I agree though SM, girls were so much easier with this sort of stuff !! My little boy still scares me slightly !! I sometimes wonder if it had been the other way round, would I now be scared of a girl ???

I agree! I am always really gentle when changing and putting cream on Fergus' bits, cos I'm worried about hurting him. DH is always lots more rough and ready! It's I guess cos he knows how much pressure you can apply before it's uncomfortable!

I wonder if DH would be all delicate and dab away gently with the cream like I do if we had a girl? :)

It's a lovely day here but I haven't got any where to go!

Did you know you can get prepaid paypal credit cards? You just transfer your money from paypal onto them, it takes 24 hours to go on the card, then you just spend on it like a normal Visa card. Most places accept them and then it won't show up on your bank. Theres no charges on them either like some prepaid ones x

Dorothy Perkins do, as do New Look, as do Lovehoney.co.uk! :p

    I'm sure there's more - i'll keep thinking.

ETA: Wallis, Miss Selfridge, Evans - are all connected and do.
