well, i got up and got everyone ready and went to mothers n toddlers (needed to sort out our christmas dinner outing as there was absentees on tuesday!), then OH took Katie and Christopher to park, so i turned into a mad cleaning woman, and blitzed the house (see below!) in an hour or so! Then met my friend for lunch - which she very surprisingly and nicely paid for ! :money: had a bit of a nose around the shops, and then said my goodbyes and got on my way up the motorway to visit another friend (the one i spoke about a while back) and her lil baby, who is suh a cutie! -- but i have a question to ask....remind me after if i forget. had cuppa and a chat with her, then bak in the car to go home (was 5pm by this stage! :eek:)
got home about 6pm, just as Oh started to dish out dinner!!!! so good.
gave my babies a kiss and played for a while.

But Katie didnt go to bed til nearly 8.45pm tonight!!! :eek: she usually goes at 7.30pm!!! maybe shell have a lie-in!? :rolleyes:

Thanks. i havent been too bad though, i shampoo'd my carpet, hoovered and mopped all house, dusted, and used my SC today, Ill use the vibes to declutter katies playroom and wardrobe. but not tomrrow as gotta collect nephew from school at 12!

Random question (cos my mum just asked and I don't know ), why do you sterilise baby bottles with EBM or formula milk in but not after a year when they have cows milk in?

I stopped strelizin when she was crawlin and pickin up all sorts and puttin it in her mouth what the point in a sterile bottle if everything else ain't (just my opinion tho) but I think it's to do with immune systems being weak when their young!!

my reason for not was because Katie had been crawling for ages, and already walking by 11 months. puting lotsa of strange and disgusting things in her mouth -- (my house is clean and i still dunno where she found mosta the stuff!!!!)

The question -- Little Isaac's (baby who i visited today - who had to have op on his gullet to stomach --ringing any bells?) head is very much at an angle.....was there another baby on here that had the same thing, and what happened, what helped him/her? or am i imagining things!??

:wave: SB ... elle i cant actually remember when i stopped strelising zoes bottles but i know she wasnt a year .. i think about 9months ... scruff i agree with you although i still did rinse with boiling water before i put the milk in x

You mean he holds his head to one side, or that one side of his head is flat so his head isn't ball like?


With the sterilising thing, I meant more what's the difference between EBM/formula compare to cows milk? Less bugs in cows milk, or is it just like you all say they're getting mucky bits from everywhere anyway?
