Aww, hugs Sugar. What a crappy week you have had. What are you going to do about work on Monday? Has hubby to go back to hospital for treatment or will rest sort it out (my medical knowledge is zilch)?

Hugs for Sugar, sorry you have so much on your plate at the moment. Is it easier having him home, or could he be persuaded to stay in?
I'm on phone in bed. LO slept through since 10pm, I'm yet to sleep. I'm just so unhappy. I sleep bad enough at home, a night of no sleep is hell. At least Mum should be awake at 6am. I've added another 1k words to my letter and got some notes on my phone to add. I imagine she might just take me out back and shoot me. No point going to stay with Mum, LO's seperate anxiety is really bad still. At least OH can hold him for 5 - 10 minutes. I don't feel so good.
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.

:mad::mad: Elijah was showing some teething signs yesterday... he had restless sleep all evening, then woke up at 3 crying (easy to settle with cuddles and patting), then at 5 doing angry shouting... tried to let him self-settle but gave up after quarter of an hour, he was standing in cot roaring (not crying) Calpol, and took 20 mins to get him down, then just as I was dropping off he started again. So gave up and got up just before 6, around 4.5 hrs of sleep and I am very grumpy about that. Then he had a very very wet nappy but screamed the house down when I tried to change him, and would do nothing but run into the kitchen and try to climb his high chair, so he is currently eating his pre-dawn breakfast. Grrrr.

Feely, that's really not good :( putting everything important in the letter is worthwhile but it sounds like you really need to send it - it sounds like you're feeling worse and worse and insomnia will exacerbate it too :( big hugs, call your mum if you haven't already this morning, and why would Toby's separation anxiety stop you from visiting your mum??

Sugar, what a miserable few days for you :/ sorry to hear and hope things improve quickly - will taking more leave really screw things up?

    ((Hugs)) to Sugar and Feelie

3 - I hope you get your wall sorted:)

    Sami - nice phone:)

elle - I luuuuurve Rhod, he is absolutely hilarious:D

I bought Kai in some of the baby porridge and he gobbled it down this morning:) I am in the process of making a list of things he will eat, it is a very short list:rolleyes: but hopefully I can add to it every few days with extra things as I will be keeping on trying all sorts of bits and pieces....d'ya know what he won't even eat a bit of toast!!! We have just changed him over to the follow on milk only because it has slightly higher calorie content and a higher complex carbs content, so hopefully that will help to make up for food he isn't eating:rolleyes:

P'ing down here, shame because I wanted to go out to the park...never mind I do actually have quite a bit to get done for the return to school tomorrow.

    Mel x

Thanks (and Molly has that frog suit too!!)

Husband has no medical insurance, and since it's mandatory in Germany he's been coasting along relying on not being ill very often. They tried to admit him but he's now on daily monitoring because his few days in hospital would cost 4-5k and while we could dig that kind of money up if we had to it would make things very difficult. I'm going to talk to him later and go to work tomorrow and suggest simply staying in/going back into Elternzeit till January and just making myself available for meetings.

Thanks feelie - hugs back. It's really expensive to have inpatient care with no insurance so he'd prefer to stay home.

Yay, my mummy is getting me tickets to see Rhod Gilbert in March :D For the last two years she's got me tickets to see Jimmy Carr in April (as my birthday present in Feb) but I've gone off seeing him live now. Anyone else seen him? Too many rape "jokes" for my liking
with a name like that, you'd have to be funny!!! :rotfl:

i love jimmy carr, he makes me chuckle lots! OH took me to see him when i was PG and when i got up to go the loo he said "are you in labour? and i shook my head, then he said "oh you must be going to the loo then" and cracked a joke about after birth incontinence :rotfl: never been so embarassed in all my life!!

ETA i am VERY unimpressed this morning, there was no milk so i've not had my morning cup of tea!!!!!
