Hsbc

HSBC are putting up my credit card APR for the second time in 3 months 8-)

When I first got it, it was 15.9, 3 months ago it went to 19.9% and now it's 21.9%.

I feel like HSBC are trying to screw me :-|

alternatively, can you balance transfer to a 0%? Are you a big credit risk, is that why they're doing it? It's actually a lot lower rate than some people have been hoiked to, which I know doesn't help, but still...

15.9% was a silly rate of interest to pay on anything other than a very short term loan (say 1 to 3 months)
CC aren't for long term borrowing

So you're not affected by these interest rate hikes then, provided that you clear the balance before your 0% promo ends?

If your credit history is in good shape, I'd vote with your feet. It's not as though there's a shortage of good 0% BT cards at the mo ;)
