You could always be very naughty, nip down to your local Sainsburys or Tesco and just tuck it with all the other stuff on the Home Baking shelves:rotfl:0

Primrose!!! that is naughty!! did shelf stacking and you wouldnt believe what some peeps left on shelves!lol hmmm tin of tuna left on shelf of tuna sandwich mix understand that - but tin of cat food left in stack of salmon? or on one occasion a box of tampax left on corned beef stack??? dread to think lmao. its honestly a real prob for supermarkets as chilled stuff is often left on other shelves. and it cant be put back! worst thing i found while shelf stacking? a well filled nappy shoved to back of tins !!! yeuckkkk0

i really couldnt leave it uncooked!! i would sooooooo have to cook it just out of curiousness (Sp).
Do it when the oven is on as said earlier, but 1 egg is worth it just to see!!0 -
tandraig - I definitely suggested that with tongue in cheek! I actually agree with you about shelf stacking. Any wander around supermarket shelves will always find displaced items. I guess people just can't be bothered to negotiate their way back round the supermarket to replace unwanted items in the correct place. One of the problems in big supermarkets is that there are so many aisles, half the time you can't even remember where you took it from.0

On a side note to this my flatmate came home with some burger style buns from the local corner shop the other day with a use by date of December!!! I dread to think what is in them keeping them fresh so long but it made me want to steer clear.:eek::eek:What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0
