Help needed I have photo.s on my computer which I am trying to put on a 2 G.B memeory stick with 1.5 G.B free space on but the computer keeps telling me it can not be done and gives me an error code any help would be apprecaited Thanks :A

Insert the Memory Stick in as you usually would do, then in My Computer right click on the drive and then select Properties.

You should see an entry called 'File System:'

This should say 'FAT 32', if it doesn't you will need to reformat the stick to be in the FAT 32 file format.

If you do have to format it to the correct one, the process will remove the contents of the stick. If you have anything on it already, you will need to back that up first before you commence.

Thanks anewhope I have gone into the properties and it says type removable disc also File system fat but no 32 Thank you;)

Easy to sort out, all you need to do is:

1). Copy anything you wish to keep on the stick to your computer
2). In My Computer, select the disk, right click and then select Format
3). In the drop down box for File System select FAT32
4). Ignore everything else and hit Start.

It shouldn't take more than a few minutes to complete. Afterwards, you shouldn't experience any issues copying to the stick.
