Kitchens....again!

Hi there
I've seen lots of recommendations on here for decent kitchens and found the advice really useful and, more importantly, independent.
I think that we'll go with either the Burbidge Hudson Cream or Wentworth/Mereway range that's similar - basically, we want a cream shaker kitchen! Can anyone give me an idea of the difference in price of the two? I have a basic list of the furniture required below. If anyone has any other recommendationd for kitchens of this style, that are well made, decent quality and good value, then that would also be great!
I had a quote from one local supplier (and do plan to approach others for quotes), but the design was a little different then and I don't want to muck him about by changing the design and making a fuss, when I might not even purchase the kitchen through him anyway! I have designed the kitchen myself.
The requirements would be as follows: -
600mm larder units x 3
800mm base unit with drawer
900mm corner unit
1000mm base unit
1000mm base drawer unit
600mm built in oven unit
300mm angled corner unit
600mm housing for washing machine plus door
600mm housing for tumble dryer plus door
600mm x 720mm high wall units x 3
900mm top box
Would really appreciate any advice!
Thanks

It would help if you could be more specific with the units, for example:
900mm corner unit - is it an angled corner / straight corner / with carousel etc etc.
600mm built in oven unit - single oven / double oven / oven and microwave etc etc.
1000mm drawer base - 2 deep / 2 deep and 1 shallow / 4 deep / 4 deep and 2 shallow etc etc.
600mm larder units - shelved / broom cupboard / pull out wirework / internal drawers etc etc.
Washing machine and tumble dryer don't have a housing, you just fit door onto front...
It might be a better idea to post your plan on here see we can have a look...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Hi,
Go back and see your original designer and be honest with them.
Its not just about buying a set of units, you need to feel comfortable with your designer and be able to trust in their knowledge and expertise.
By all means get other quotes as they may have different ideas, but its not just about a set of units.
Good luck.
PS - I would go for Mereway as you know what you would be getting rather than your Burbidge doors on could be any carcase.0 -
Slight hi-jack coming up, I've just seen a local company who supply burbidge doors and pullman furniture cabinets.
I've still to see the mereway company.
Can any kitchen people advise whether they have any experience of Pullman Furniture cabinets?
Thanks
