Has anyone had experience of using rent.com? I'm looking for a flat to rent and replied to a couple of ads on gumtree only to have two near identical (company template it appears) replies stating that they have relocated to london and as such rent.com will be dealing with the tenancy. I have never heard of them and when I looked up the company homepage there were only listings for 4 cities (not mine). Having heard various horror stories I want to check if this is some sort of scam or for any associated problems
