MOT advice please
I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for me as I don't want to waste anyones time.
The wifes car is due it's MOT next week, she has a Street KA and the only thing wrong with it is that one of the front foglight lenses at the bottom is broken. Will this fail because of this?
Those lights are never used anyway but if it will fail I will try and get a new lense cover fitted but at the moment it's money I could do without spending.
If it does need one does anyone have any advice where to pick one up cheap?
Thanks in advance everyone.

I could be wrong & I'm sure someone will put me right if I am but....
The front fog lights are not included in an MOT test, unlike the rear?Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
I thought that all lights that are fitted must be working, but I too could be wrong.

Simple cure is to remove the fog lights, make the wiring safe, cover the hole....sorted.0 -

Scroll down to "Optional lamps" as front fog lights are not compulsary then I assume they come under this heading????Always try to be at least half the person your dog thinks you are!0 -
my old car went through 3 or 4 with a broken (smashed) fog light0

Thanks very much for the advice everyone, the actual light is working it's just the lanse cover that's borken, think I stone has flipped up and smashed it.
I'll try putting it through I think but find out how much it would cost to get one fitted from the garage.
Don't think i'll use the Ford garage though as they told the wife that the wing needed taking off to replace an indicator bulb and it would be about 4 hours labour :rolleyes:If At First You Don't Succeed, Call It Version 1.0
