Anyone know about selling property in scotland?

Problem we have is that the sale of my partners flat should be complete tomorrow.
And the solicitors and estate agents have requested there fees (the money from the sale did not cover that)
We thought that anyone could pay their fees..but it turns out that the money must come from my partners account.
So we got some cash transferred to her account..this now looks like it could take up to 4 days.
Sooooooo my question is...as long as everything is signed will the sale all go through tomorrow?
The money from the sale is enough to cover the mortgage etc..but its short on paying the search fees etc.

It'll only be alright if the solicitor and EA are willing to wait 4 days for their fees, and whoever did the searches for the solicitor will wait as well.

I think, as long as the proceeds of the sale will 'redeem' the outstanding mortgage, there's nothing to stop the sale process, but at the end of the day - ask the solicitor!

If you pay cash into the partner's account at a branch of their bank, over the counter, it should go into their account immediately. Problem solved.

that would be the best thing to do...sadly it was a family member at the other end of the county and they just did a money transfer :(
