  • Have to say, am surprised at Barclays. They are supposed to be BR friendly and my ex went BR owing them a fair few quid and they still opened a basic account.

    At least you got your Co-op one sorted in the end, so good news.
    Debt 30k in 2008.:eek::o Cleared all my debt in 2013 and loving being debt free :)
    Mortgage free since 2014 :)
  • i had my coop one refured on thursday and refused on saturday, had a phone call today saying they need my proof of address as its now been accepted, drove the 40 miles to the nearest bank thisafternoon as if i posted the docs with the postal stike could take ages lol

    Just got the card and bank details - that was the first he knew - took about 6 days I think
