Cancelled paypal payment

Hi guys wonder if anyone can help me I have been having trouble for the first time with pay pal. My buyer made a payment to me by e-cheque through paypal and I had to wait 10 days for it to clear. On the day it should have cleared it came up on my account as cancelled. I contacted pay pal who tell me that it has been cancelled by the buyer, however she is telling me she has contacted pay pal who have told her that she has definately paid. I haven't sent the item yet and don't want to loose my 100% feedback, but I definately don't have the money.

I don't want to ring the pay pal 0870 no and the others no's I can't get through on and am at a loss what to do now.

When you say you contacted paypal, was this by email - if so, send the buyer a copy of the email from paypal saying you haven't been paid, just an idea.

No I called the 0870 no a couple of days again maybe I should e-mail as well.

ask the buyer to contact paypal

also, you could do a screen grab showing the cancellation too and email the buyer a copy (just jab print screen to capture the screen, then 'paste' it into an email body
