Regarding the Sainsbury's ale offer, my hubby rated the 80/- ale (from Alloa??), and a porter??
He stocked up on the 80/- as well as the Hobgoblin.

Thanks for the info. Bought myself and hubby a few bottles of Tanglefoot which is also on offer for a £1 at Asda.

A bit off topic but I did hear that from Mon 28th Sept if you spend £30 at Tesco you can buy a Litre of spirit for £10.

Previous offer was for Becks,Stella and Strongbow on a £30 spend.

There are currently 15 different bottled ales at £1 in asda (bought one of each!)
