Old Speckled Hen £1 at Asda

Old Speckled Hen bottled beer is priced up at my local asda for £1.52 but is scanning at £1. They do have other beers which are on special offer at £1 per bottle but this one is not supposed to be part of the offer.

Many thanks I'll take a look today for hubby. He normally stocks up when these offers are on as he prefers bottles to cans.
BTW, Sainsburys have also got a decent selection of beers on offer at £1.49 and 3 for 2 - so also around £1 per bottle.

Lidl's have ales at £1 per bottle at the moment. Includes Hobgoblin, bishops finger and a couple of other well knowns that I can't remember!

Old Speckled Hen has been £1 since last Tuesday and is still on offer. I bought loads last week. Its on Rollback but dont know till when. HTH.

There is nothing remarkable about this, it IS supposed to be part of the offer.

Still good though, but I prefer Hobgoblin from Lidl

Just popped in today and picked up several bottles of Hobgoblin from Lidl - hubby actually prefers this to Brown Ale (no loyalty there then!!!!!!!!!).
Got a decent selection of beers now, maybe worth stocking up for xmas??
