    Hi,

    try F11.

Edit; Oops, sorry forget about F11, that's for another problem, just up and the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet.

You could try Ctrl with - key, or hold Ctrl and scroll mouse wheel.

  • Hi Nico,

You said he was playing a game from the Internet, so does this problem affect just your Internet browser application/program (i.e. Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox for example), or the whole of your computer?

If it's the later, and you are using windows (not Linux or Mac) each version of Windows since 95 has provided a special loading sequence for troubleshooting/diagnosing and fixing problems. This "safe mode" option loads windows with the bare minimum settings - it will boot with a 600x480 resolution and allow you to see the whole screen.

    1) When switching your computer on, after the 1st screen (probably with a logo at the top and with a load of white text on a black screen) has appeared, and just before you see the windows logo screen, tap the F8 key like mad.
    2) You'll see a screen with a menu, or several selectable options. Use the arrow keys to select just the "safe mode" option.
    3) Login to windows, then go into the control panel, and display settings applet to change the display (I'd suggest to 1024x768 resolution to start with)
    4) Restart the computer and these settings should be saved.

Please let us know if this doesn't resolve your issue.
