Hi
I wonder if anyone can help or advise please.
Situation is that a couple of years ago we bought a second house. This was let till recently. We are considering moing into the second house in the next couple of months. The house we currently live in has a mortgage.
My question is if we move and then later sell our current home will we incur any kind of charge or taxes.? The amount involved will be upwards of £220k after settling the mortgage.
Thanks

If you sell your current house and move to the other, there are no taxes to pay. I am not sure how long you have to sell your current home before tax is paid but someone will be along soon.0
